After years of internal planning and pauses caused by the pandemic, MODS engaged Roto to develop a concept for the new Discovery Center that offered playful exploration of STEM experiences that would lead to lifelong learning for all families.

Nearly 4,000 square feet of hands-on interactive exhibits in the new Discovery Center

Features three distinctly themed areas highlighting the area’s local industries and ecosystems

Introduces “Spot,” a charismatic character and visual companion seen throughout the visitors’ journey

Gallery content advances the museum’s DEAI work through words, images, and examples of phenomena

Exhibit content aligns with STEM skills required by Florida's educational STEM standards
