Kaleideum, which opened in early 2024, is the name for the joint project between SciWorks and the Children’s Museum of Winston Salem. Roto led the institutional and visitor experience master planning that guided these two independent and competing institutions to join forces under one new roof – a relocation and adaptive reuse of a vacant county building in a prime downtown location.
