In partnership with Amaze Design and Group Delphi, Roto provided design, engineering and fabrication for four major galleries within the award-winning Perot Museum, including accountability for all the major custom interactive elements. highlighted by the Giant Tornado, popular Earthquake Simulator, and multi-station digital Build-A-Bird experience.

This networked exhibit system allows visitors to progressively create their own bird species by digitally selecting a body, wings, tail, food, beak, and song from among nature’s options, learning the role of each along the way. At the last station, visitors can see their bird’s final form, give it a name, and watch it fly away. Using a clever mnemonic system, no bar codes or RFID chips were required to allow each visitor a unique, durable ID in the system.
