Exhibit Production Finisher

- Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
- Full-time temporary (6-months)
The Production Finisher works as a contributing member of the Fabrication team in finishing the interactive and scenic treated exhibits, interpretive displays, themed environments and structures from shop/construction drawings, based on existing designs from Roto’s Design Team. This includes, but is not limited to:
Preparing, priming, painting, staining and top coating exhibits, displays, scenic facades and graphic signs using both common and a variety of unusual materials.
Operating standard finish preparation tools and finishing equipment, spray booth equipment, including, sanders, HVLP sprayers and pumps, cup finish guns, and other various hand power tools required in the production and scenic finishing and assemblies of final products.
Preparing and finishing samples for client approvals, scaled models and mock-ups of exhibit pieces and spaces for evaluation in wood, plywoods, plastics, foams or similar modeling products.

Minimum 5 years’ production finishing experience and/or related experience in a cabinet shop, automotive painting and finishing facility, or similar fabrication, construction, mechanical, or industrial finishing position.
Ability to work on many projects simultaneously, such as sanding, masking, and finishing while other finishes are flashing, drying and curing.
High level of skill and aptitude for the maintenance and cleaning of industrial finishing equipment.
Medium level of skill with hand tools, power tools, various saws, routers, and drills.
